The 3-layer waterproofing system is used for tiled roofs: a coat of waterproofing membrane is applied to the affected area, followed by a layer of fiberglass. This combination when completely dried forms a hard, plastic-like covering over the leaking area. A final coat of membrane is applied onto the previous 2 layers to totally eliminate any possibility of water entering the affected area.
The 5-layer waterproofing system is used for the RC roof or gutter: the affected area is thoroughly cleaned using high pressure water jet to get rid of all the debris; a coat of waterproofing primer is then applied to the affected area. When it is completely dried, a layer of waterproofing membrane, followed by a layer of fiberglass will be applied over the same area. This combination when completely dried will form a hard, plastic-like covering over the leaking area. Two more coats of membrane (individually applied when the previous layer is completely dried) are applied onto the previous 2 layers to totally eliminate any possibility of water entering the affected area.
The color of the waterproofing membrane is chosen to match as close as possible to the color of your roof tile and RC roof or gutter.
